Gentle Giant moved into a new 62,000 sq. ft. office/storage facility in
January
of 2003. We are located in Hawthorne. It’s a
very safe area, with constant security patrols. The building is equipped with a
state of the art video security system, and an industry standard sprinkler
system. |

Palletized Storage
Palletized vault storage is the most economical and safest form of storage.
It has many advantages over "self storage," and will cost you less because of
the advanced techniques used.
We store your household goods in large (solid wood) vaults specifically
designed for furniture storage. They measure, 5 feet wide, by 7 feet deep,
by 7 feet high.
The great advantage of this method is that it
reduces the amount of times
that your furniture needs to be handled. When the truck arrives at our
warehouse, the empty vaults are taken directly to the truck doors with a
forklift. The items are already wrapped and protected which facilitates fast
loading of the vaults.
When the time comes to deliver your furniture to your new location, the vaults
can be loaded on a flatbed truck with a forklift. This eliminates the expense of
reloading a truck. |

Special Handling
Large soft items, such as sofas and overstuffed chairs, are shrink-wrapped then
stored on custom couch racks. Glass, marble, large mirrors etc., are stored on
special shelves. |

Private Facility
A private warehouse is more secure than the "public" storage facilities.
Access is always by appointment and supervised by a company employee.
